RFP Overview

Video Productions – Home Sales Videos

Scope

Production

I think for your scope; we're looking at a 1-day production with 1 day of location scouting or set design with a 3-person crew of

  • 1 cinematographer & director

  • 1 AC/sound tech

  • 1 BTS photographer that can duplicate our video b roll shot list to take advantage of the production and add some stills.

  • 0 casting & talent

  • a full camera, lighting, and sound package.

Travel looks straightforward on my end for production in Portland, with

  • 0 travel days

  • 0 flights

  • 0 rental car

  • 0 lodging accommodations

  • about 120 miles in travel for the whole crew

Pre & Post Production

I use a project management software called Basecamp that we can use to keep the team and stakeholders on the same page, track dates and revisions, and share deliverables while we work on

  • 1 video treatment that covers our tangible goals, target audience, competitive advantages, tone, visual style, sounds, deliverables, specs, & production timeline.

  • 12 scripts & storyboards

  • picking and licensing 12 songs

  • 4 monthly check-in meetings between now and our due date of Tuesday, December 31, 2024

  • editing, sound design, color grading of 12 deliverables

  • 1 revision round for each deliverable is complimentary. Each revision is exported as web-optimized videos with the timecode burnt in for easy reference when giving feedback. Once every stakeholder likes what they're looking at, we export the full-res duplicate with no timecode.

Estimate

Here's an estimate based on our discussion. I’m sure this will change and is intended to be malleable until we kick off.

  • The total cost comes out to around $15,190.00.

  • A $7,310.00 deposit payment would cover the Pre-Production and Travel costs to kick off.

  • Files are shared following a $7,800.00 delivery payment, which covers Post-Production costs.
